The morisqueta originated in the Tierra Caliente region of Mexico, which spans Michoacán, Guerrero, and the state of Mexico, and is known for its intense, humid heat and very little rainfall. Morisqueta is a dish often made in our hometown due to the simplicity of three ingredients, rice, beans and a salsa with queso fresco cubes.  We can't  wait for you and your guest to experience the essence of Michoacán with our vibrant and fresh flavors of Mexican cuisine.
